Is this solid surface topologically equivalent to a sphere? This was the question
raised as Poincare Conjecture. How could such a simply connected closed surface
be homeomorphic to a sphere in a topological sense?
For mathematicians, it is really the question of "seeing" it as a sphere trnscending
the current nominal view of reality.
Perhaps, life or existence, too, offers a similar unitary vista (nondual) even though it appears
with dazzling and intricate varieties of patterns and personalities in its convolution
with itself giving rise to many noitons like time, space, individuality, etc.
We may not be able to CHANGE our world by direct imposition,
but we could change our views of our world through our own experience,
awareness and understanding. These would shape our own interaction with the world,
which, in turn, would render us our own reality free from any dogma.
Therefore, to change the world
we need to change ourselves, not the rest of the world, but just ourselves; we need to celebrate ourselves in joy, in respect, and in our emergent empathy
as we discover the entire existence as our own extension.
Perhaps, it is possible to discover and find out the essence
of EXISTENCE directly by each of us without relying on others. Like others before us we could find it
out too.
And through our own discovery, we would be liberated from our own self-induced banishment from reality.
This has been the ashram's central focus from the beginning:
Discover truth through our own individual interactions
Moving in Awareness and in Vision accorded in clarity without relying on scriptures, knowledge, and theories.
